Contrast Increase

To increase contrast with the Curves command, pick a point somewhere along the lower left side of the
curve and pull it down a little. This darkens the darker tones. Then pick a point somewhere along the
upper right side of the curve and push it up a little. This lightens the lighter tones. Darker darks
and lighter lights make increased contrast and this operation is something not possible in Levels.

At this point, the image looks pretty good, but say we want to still alter a range of tones a little.
