On 1 November 2005 we left Canada and entered the USA at the Peace Arch border crossing where British Columbia meets the state of Washington to head south along the Pacific coast of the USA, on our way to canyon country of the USA southwest and southern Arizona, the ultimate destination for this winter's odyssey.

The photos below were taken at our first stop which was at Copalis Beach on the state of Washington's Pacific coast, where most of the time we were there it rained, so not a lot of opportunity for photos.
