Westward Trek 2005 Gallery

On 9 September 2005 we left our home base of Ottawa, Ontario Canada to head west on the second winter tour of our Photo Odyssey. The goal is to photograph the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the Pacific coast of the USA, and canyon country of the USA southwest.

While enroute to the Pacific, with the exception of Banff, Alberta, the first major photo-stop of this tour, and Vancouver, British Columbia, the end of our westward trek before turning south along the Pacific coast, these two stops having their own galleries...

...our other stops will be too short to shoot enough photos to justify their own galleries, so I'm combining all that we shoot along the way into this gallery.

I was online looking for photos of Kalamalka Lake near Vernon BC. This search led me to your gallery. What beautiful photographs! I am an extreme amateur photographer, and do it for fun. Occasionally I come up with a good landscape photograph. Yours are breathtaking! I'm envious and inspired! We are moving to the Okanagan at the end of October, and this has just increased my curiosity and willingness to explore...with my camera; which I ofcourse was planning on doing, but I am so much more inspired to do now. Thank you for the eye candy. You're so talented. I'd love to see more!
