I'm afraid "Shortest International Bridge" is off the mark. Local tour boat operators have been telling this hoary tall tale for generations. I first heard it as a kid in the sixties and again in '03. The lie adds a bit of spice to their monologue. Both islands are located in Canadian waters. The flags seen along the bridge are merely symbols of the friendship that exists between these two nations. The main island is
named Zavicon, I forget the other's. They are located about 100 meters north of the border line.
