Thanks for the comment, Rian. The reason I didn't shoot more at White Sands, although I shot a lot more than I've posted here, is because the winds were very strong (35-50mph/55-80kph) while we were there which raised quite a dust and sand storm and I could only endure it for about 30 minutes before giving up. To keep from having my camera sandblasted, I had it wrapped in a towel and only exposed the lens long enough to compose and take a shot. I was very disappointed the conditions weren't better for photography because it was indeed a beautiful and striking place that I could have spent at least a full day in, especially sunrise and sunset which would probably have produced some stunning shots. Oh well. Next time. ;-(
