The next stop on our way to Big Bend National park was in Del Rio, Texas, where our 24rd camp was at the Buzzard Roost campground before moving to our 25rd camp at the American Campground. The biggest attractions to Del Rio are the nearby Amistad National Recreational Area around Lake Amistad, a large reservoir on the Rio Grande, and the Alamo Village movie location 30 miles to the east.
