The 20th & 21st camps of our Photo Odyssey were in Rockport, Texas which is located about 30 miles north of Corpus Christi, Texas, and a port on the Texas Gulf coast in an region called The Coastal Bend.

We chose this locale for its proximity to some of the barrier islands along the Texas Gulf coast, like Mustang Island and Padre Island. Much to my surprise the area was teeming with water birds and other wildlife and looked very much like areas of Florida and the Outer Banks.
