Photos taken along the long and winding road to the Odyssey's fifth winter tour that's to be a return to the U.S. state of Texas this time. Technically, the trek began when we left Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada in the greater Ottawa area, our home base, and first stopped in the Kawartha Lakes region at Lindsay, Ontario, our 155th camp, but we've been to Lindsay so many times over the years, to me the trek didn't really feel like it started until we left for Sherkston Shores, Ontario along Lake Erie, our 156th camp, so that's where I'll start this gallery from.
   The second stop, our 157th camp, was in Delaware, Ohio, just north of Columbus where my daughter and her family live.
   The third stop, our 158th camp, was in Lebanon, Ohio, northeast of Cincinnati and centrally located between my son and younger sister.
   The fourth stop, our 159th camp, was near Nashville, Tennessee, as that was simply the end of a day’s drive, but proved to be interesting.
   The fifth stop, our 160th camp, was near Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, as that too was simply the end of a day’s drive along the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, which I highly recommend as a thing of beauty, 444 miles (715 km) of it.
   The sixth stop, our 161th camp, was near Tupelo, Mississippi, to see Visitors Center of the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway.
   The seventh stop, our 162nd camp, was at Canton, Mississippi, near Jackson, the state capital, to see Cypress Swamp and Barnett Reservoir.
   The eighth stop, our 163rd camp, was at Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to see Lake Martin (very scenic) and Henderson Swamp.
   The ninth stop, our 164th camp, was at Beaumont, Texas, simply an overnight stop, but we made it to Texas!
