The 117th camp of the Photo Odyssey was in Fort Myers, Florida USA. Our visit here was primarily to visit family who was escaping the northern winter for a couple months, but in shooting photos I ranged as far east as Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades, south as far as Chokoloskee Island on the coast, and north as far as Sarasota. This was the first time we've been in Florida when it was warm enough for the alligators to be out and there was no shortage of these fascinating creatures, as well as birds almost everywhere one looked.
