The apparent passage of the flower through the sphere image made me think again of Jim Croce's song:
"If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day 'til eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you."

The flower seems to be funneling down in a vortex, apparently away from the present. It's a lovely and poignant effect, especially for something with such as short life as a flower in bloom.
