Duality

Flowering 'kangaroo paw' (Anigozanthos) from Western Australia is popular in gardens down-under in yellow, red or orange forms. It is aptly named, as can be seen in the shot of a sleeping kangaroo.

The double image format comes from an idea by Patricia Lay-Dorsey: http://www.pbase.com/windchimewalker/dualities

other sizes: small medium original

Thank you for putting these two images together. You increase the pleasure we can take in what is uniquely Australian. Until now, I had never seen a sleeping kangaroo. It's enchanting to see how the fingers separate as its paw relaxes. I wonder if it dreams of sweet green grass and bright yellow flowers?
