Around the garden

We live among wooded hills covered in eucalypt and acacia forest (altitude about 600m) not far from the coastal city of Adelaide, South Australia. Summers (Dec-Feb) are warm and dry, sometimes hot; winters (June-Aug) are cool and wet, often beautifully misty. Annual rainfall is about 800 mm, mainly over April - November. Frost occurs only occasionally, around May-June. Spring to early summer is the peak period for flowering, though something is in flower in every month of the year.
