Sealed chrome tuning machines have held up very well and have no play or slippage at all. Still plan to replace them though.

I've had one of these for 24 years and this is the first time i've seen one the same. The tuning machines need replacing but it still sounds great. I found it in a junk shop so don't know the year it was made.
