The following Jedson Jumbo photographs were provided by its owner,Henning, in the UK.It
is clearly a Gibson SJ-200 copy, although there is a significant difference in the bridge design.
Henning states:
"It is a real jumbo, and the model is some kind of a Gibson. According to the tag inside it's called J W (perhaps Jumbo Western?)
and it's got a serial number 837. I bought it in 1969, and it really wasn't a cheap guitar. It was rather a medium price
at that time. I fell for it because of the nice looking and the very nice sound, and I think it has become better with the years of use.
Everything on the guitar is original including the machine heads."
Significant features of this Jedson:
3-piece solid back -- appears to be maple or a light mahogany - or both
Gibson-style fingerboard inlays
Ebony bridge and fingerboard
