Wild Animals of Montana-a chance to shoot captured wild animals without barriers-a 2008 Charles Gladzer photo shoot

Troy has worked with these guys all his life and handreared many of them on his wildlife ranch. The roars and jumps by big cats and bears are on command and rewarded with raw chicken parts but still are scary. The animals not only perform for still photographers like me but are used by Animal Planet,National Geographic and many movies.Charles Glazer brought us here.

Allen No protection for us but their drama coach,the animal hander who reared them from birth was beside us with raw chicken parts which all these guys really like was beside us all the time Tom

Wow, Tom, you have some great shots here. It must have been quite an experience to be up close to the "lion soaring" and that great, blow dried, Barbary lion (Barbary lion prowls!) -your best shots maybe, though the bobcat babies in the tree are very sweet. The "Grizzly scares" is most imposing. The tiger looks a bit more dangerous and unsettled but the African leopard is definitely the one to watch out for...ears back in every shot, not a comfy kitty! Were the photographers protected in someway from these major predators? - except, of course, when you were posed with the male lion (...did you pet him?) Mitzi & I look forward to hearing about your adventures there. Best, Allan
