It's been hard work to get Windows 7 running on a Xen hypervisor with what's termed VGA passthrough. But installing the GPLVP drivers for data storage devices was painless using signed drivers, and these drivers gave a substantial performance boost with my SSD. The previous Windows Experience index showed only 5.8 for disk performance.
So, I'm now running Windows on top of a Linux Mint 13 with Xen hypervisor. Bye bye dual-booting !!!
