Message from Chng Mei Yen
Thanks for dropping by. I hope that some of these photos inspire you - as much as I have been inspired by capturing these moments. And now... a little about me.
I am a procurement representative by profession, but an artist in the heart. It all started on the day my art instructor gave me an assignment to shoot pictures. Basically, we (his students) were asked to come back and show him the photos. We then had to select one of the pictures and produce an artwork.
My friend accompanied me to the Penang Spice Garden and it was there that the camera bug bit me, and bit me hard! I started using my digital camera more and more. What followed was a desire to acquire better cameras. So, I went from Fuji A203 to Fuji S6000 and finally, the Nikon D60. Then I was struck by the lens fever.
Having the kit lens just wasn't enough and I started being more ambitious. I ended up with a Tamron 18-200mm, Nikkor 35mm AFS 1.8, Tamron SP90 Macro lens.
I've also heard comments by my friends (girls) who wondered how I could spend this amount on cameras, and lens and possibly the accessories eg. SB600 flash, tripod etc... I guess one word would explain it. Passion.
I've not been adding more photos as I've come down with knee injuries and thus, not running around as much as before....more photos after I recover.
