(11 February 2007): I had to go out this afternoon to take Kojak (a German Shepherd) for a walk in Epsom Downs here in Surrey, UK. On our way to the Downs, I saw this bird of prey on the pavement of the road plucking a wood pigeon. She wasn't bothered with the cars passing by every now and then as she was so busy enjoying her afternoon meal. I managed to take a few shots before she flew away. She came back to her feast after we got away...BTW, it's a Sparrow Hawk.
