The Cyclop is a lens that came with a Russian night vision scope. Since maximum light was the objective, the lens has no diaphragm, giving a constant f/1.5 aperture. The lens is believed to be the same optical formula as the Russian Helios-40. While the depth of field is naturally quite shallow, the lens has very good sharpness for such a wide aperture. The bokeh is quite interesting.
