I arrived at Jolly's Landing late in the day, and had only been there 5 minutes scanning the 800-1000 shorebirds present when a Merlin blasted thru scattering everything. After a few minutes the birds settled back in, only to have a large, immature Peregrine make a pass. I was ready the 2nd time (as ready as you can be with a Peregrine in close and wide-open) she came in and got some decent images of this hectic situation.
