Hap Chambers and I made a whirlwind trip to New England in late January of '08 in search of rarities and northeast specialties. We were very successful, in getting the 3 major rarities (Pink-footed and Barnacle Geese, and Slaty-backed Gull) and most of the specialties we went for. Other highlights included:
