The following is a collection of about 30 of some of my better shots, or better birds, of a recent birding trip to Korea. The tour was run by WBKEnglish (www.wbkenglish.com), from 4/25/04 to 5/7/04 and was absolutely fabulous in all respects. Our total trip list was around 230 species, of which I saw 220 and photographed well over half of. This being my 1st birding out of the states, out of my 220, almost 190 were lifers! I also have a couple of other galleries for passerines and non-passerines illustrating all of the species I got decent images of.
As usual, my images won't be gracing any magazines, but are decent looks at the birds.
The images would be best viewed at 800x600, or 1024x768 at most.
Thanks for posting the pictures. I have given your website to a birder friend of ours ( true birder, not like us hobbyists) and she was very impressed especially since some of the birds we saw she did not see on her birding trip to Viet Nam this January.
I look forward to more pictures. It was a real joy to share the trip with you. You and Manhattan Mike were the nicest people in the group and keen birders.
