We had looked high and low for Bohemians in places they had been seen, with no luck (not surprisingly). Hap spotted a group of birds at the roadside as we were driving through southern ME, just off the coast. We went back and at 1st found only Robins and Cedar Wawxings, but finally found at least 4 Bohemians in the scattered group.
The Bohemians that I could photograph, were all at least partially shaded. The dark undertail is still visible though, as is the gray belly (compare to Cedar just below it), and the lack of while on the upper border of the black face and rufous tinge to the face are also visible.
This was only my 3rd time seeing Bohemians, and the 1st time I could directly compare them to Cedar Waxwings.
