The foreground has a Common Tern to the left, and two Roseate's to it its right.

Steve 1st spotted a Roseate, and that long, thin black bill was what he 1st picked up on. Another thing that was usually obvious (besides the white underparts and long tail streamers) was the extensive white on the inner primary edges of the folded wing, as well as mostly pale primaries altogether.
