Chestnut Munia

Kauai, HI

This is another image captured while looking off of my balcony. There always seemed to be a few of these birds, Red-crested Cardinals, Western Meadowlarks, Common Mynas, and Zebra Doves on the lawn under us. Nutmeg Mannikin is supposedly the most common of the introduced finches in the islands, but on Kaua'i I saw by far more of these colorful little guys.
