Several Osprey's made close passes overhead as we were leaving San Diego, a treat for an aviation fanatic like me! All of the West Coast Ospreys are based out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (of Top Gun fame), just north of San Diego.

This Osprey belongs to VMM-165, the 'White Knights".
