The star of the day! This bird was often seen at the big field at the end of the logging road off of McDavitt, and luckily it was sitting in a visible spot for us this morning. Lifer for both of my friends, and though too far for conventional photography, the looks thru the scope were spectacular and digicsopes decent enough.
