This gull had been having a pretty predictable pattern the last few days of coming in early in the morning and hanging around on the roofs of the warehouse buildings in the Ashtabula harbor, but then disappearing and often not seen again the rest of the day. So, we got there just after dawn, and sure enough about 30 minutes later the Black-tailed sailed in and spent most of the next hour or so either resting or flying around the area. No other interesting gulls, other than some Great Black-backs.
