Duluth Birding Nov. 04

I took a spur of the minute trip up to Duluth over the Thanksgiving weekend, 2500 miles in 3.5 days. The trip was well worth it, with 4 lifers on the trip. These were Sharp-tailed Grouse, Black-backed Woodpecker, Bohemian Waxwing, and Snow Bunting. The main reason for going was the Owls, of course. I had many encounters with Northern Hawk and Great Gray Owls. Lighting was tough, so most of the photos came out a little dark. Hope you enjoy.
