The last few days of our trip was spent at the Pousada Aguape, where we got some different birds than at Pousada Xaraes, due to having some higher ground to work. I also highly recommend the Aguape, wonderful place to stay, with Hyacinth Macaws, Red-legged Seriemas, and Toco Toucans literally being feeder birds.

But, very little English is spoken here, so I would recommend taking care of this advance with an English-speaking guide. You could do no better than the guide we had, Cassiano Zaparoli (ZAPA).
