Canon EOS 40D ,Celestron C8 telescope
Total of over 14 hours exposure: combination of 8 x 10 and 1 x 20-minute exposures at ISO 1000, and 55 x 10 & 10 x 20-minute exposures at ISO 1600, all f6.3, taken using manual off-axis guiding over 25 nights from 2008 to 2011. Combined using DeepSkyStacker. full exif

I take my hat off to you, Mike. As an astrophotographer myself, I know what you went through for this. BTW, I don't know what you're using for a mount - I took my C8 off the fork mount and use it with a CG5-ASGT.....and a guide scope with autoguider. Life is better, my neck appreciates it. These old C8's are just wonderful scopes.
