IC 1848 (bottom) is also known as the 'Baby Nebula'. Also visible is the Double Cluster, NGC884 and NGC869, (right) in Perseus

Modified EOS 600D,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM
14 x 4-minute exposures at f/4 and ISO 1600, registered and stacked using Deep Sky Stacker software. Camera 'piggybacked' on a Celestron C8 telescope and manually guided.
Image replaces an earlier attempt at the same subject. full exif
