This lovely quiet cemetery near the Pyramid of Caius Cestius dates from the late 18th Century when Non Catholics could only have their houses of worship outside the Wall and could not be buried in Catholic cemeteries. A tribe of well-fed, happy cats provides companionship to the residents of the cemetery.
