This is an overexposed picture to show some detail inside the tube, which was really quite dark. The rods were wrapped in black heatshrink tubing, something APM should have done with the production TMB CNC tubes (instead of brilliant steel threaded rod). Black flocking material from McMaster.com, and black powdercoat on everything else.
