Snow Outside Gilroy - A Rare Occurrence!







    
Unusually cold weather in March 2006 combined with not-so-unusual wet weather to dust the hills east of Gilroy with snow. It hasn't happened in the nine years we've been here, and the sense I get is that it happens maybe once a decade.

We get dusting of snow in Livermore almost every year, but this year you could sled! Beautiful photos. KP

I remember it actually snowing in Petaluma, Ca on Xmas day, 1990! There's no snow here in the tropics, although we are not having tropical weather, currently....LL 13 Mar GZ
