During a short break in Aviemore, set in the Scottish highlands, I had intended to take a portfolio in the hills, but the Scottish summer washed that idea away
However walking distance from our cottage were these fabulously restored steam engines in full working service

Not a bad way to spend a washed out day at all. Really enjoyed browsing this gallery, every shot is beautiful and full of interest.
