Thank you for stopping by. My pbase galleries are mostly used to keep my record and documentary shots of birds which I have an interest in and plan to study. Here you will find a mixture of quality. Weak shots are not going to be replaced, as they are unique documentation of places and behavior. In the future (time permitted) I plan to make more selected galleries showing just the beauty of our feathered friends. I will also try to finish many folders that are incomplete at this time. Many folders are photo illustrations for posts I make on LISTSERV.UH.EDU (TEXBIRDS - http://listserv.uh.edu/archives/texbirds.html ). P.S. At the end the most important info. Again, I am not a birder or bird expert (or somebody who pretends to be the one). I would rather spend hours, days or even weeks with one species, in some cases one bird, then try to see and count them all. Learning about animal behavior is the most important part of my passion in my studies of a few selected birds. So, if you see any identification mistakes please let me know. Especially if you feel that you can bet your wife or mother on your ID. No, I will not try to collect the prize if you are wrong. And do not bet your girlfriend or wife in hopes you can get rid of one easily. I will gratefully appreciate all your help whether it was a typing mistake or lack of knowledge on my part.
