Manas Barooah

And to clear the mis-understanding, I never studied in AEC nor was I an AECIAN. I spent my early childhood days in the AEC campus till I went to KREC, Surathal for my Engineering in 1990.

As I stand infront of the Standard 20 VAN, I still remember the day this VAN was purchased and it was delivered to AEC. The smell of the new paint is fresh in my mind. Well that was around 1979-80.

Now as it stands in the ruins.... I feel as if a family member of AEC about to pass away.

I was nice that while thousands of students have paased out no one yet felt the pang to do what you have done. None, including myself(1982-87)could spare the time and muster the courage(yes, I do feel you need a lot of courage to do anything creative too)to give us the nostalgia. Thanks. I personally feel indented to you.

I passed out from AEC in 1995-96 but have not been to AEC since a long time, maybe 7 years or so... Your photos as well as all the snaps showing each corner of AEC really flashed a lot of things into my mind from those days. Really appreciate your efforts.

I studied in Aec during 2000-2004.Our college is a really beautiful place. But your poignant photos really give it a different meaning. The clock tower in brilliant white against the backgound of hazy green is really the signature of AEC.No wonder people cry when they go out of the colege.
A photo of a class in progress is about all you can add. Also, having been a boarder of Hostel-2,it would be nice to see a real nice image of it.
Congratulations!Your work is brilliant.
