This is the 10th year that Lynda and I have hosted our Warbler Day for our fellow birders, so they can enjoy the many avian migrants that pass through our property here on Compton Mt in Buchanan County VA. This year we had 16 birders who came to participate. Everyone appeared to enjoy the day and the birds despite the off and on rainy weather. We recorded 52 bird species for the day. Here are some of the birders and some of the birds that have shown up here in the last couple of days.
