Warbler Day 2011

It was a beautiful day for our annual Warbler Day in September. Thirty-one birders came from Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio and Utah to see the colorful migration of fall birds, as they passed through our yard and fields on Compton Mt. The migration had not gotten into full swing yet, so we counted only 49 species for the day, but everyone enjoyed the day, the food and the companionship.
