On September 11, 2010 thirty-one birders came to our house on Compton Mt to enjoy the warblers and other migrants passing through our property. Fifty-one species were counted with 13 species being warblers. It was a fun day in spite of off and on rain. The birds cooperated and kept showing up all day long. Several birders got lifebirds. We had a good lunch with several guests bringing delicious side dishes and desserts to add to the lunch my wife and I provided.
Here are some photos of the day and some of the species observed.
