Birds In Snow

On Saturday, March 8th, when the heavy snow started falling, the birds started pouring in to the feeders. There were over a hundred Red-winged Blackbirds, 14 Fox Sparrows, a new record number for our yard, 7 Rusty Blackbirds, 28 Northern Cardinals and others. It gave me an opportunity for some photos.

Thank you for sharing! The photos are wonderful!! No matter what time of year, or what type of weather, it's always a treat to observe various birds and other wildlife. Who needs TV when we have nature's finest to entertain and delight us?
