This year the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have been really prolific, and the number at our feeders has been amazing. It is not unusual to have at least 25 at one feeder. This feeder is hanging just outside our kitchen window, so I just slide the window open and take photos.
Hi roger- I have hummers, but not that many-yet. I do have, however, seen on our lake a sandpiper, never knew they go to fresh water too. It was running along the shore/beach, but it was dusk and hard for me to ID exactly what kind. Only , one sandpiper, but he was having a great time with the waves from the boats on the beach, as we were all heading for the marina. Let me know, if you have heard of such a thing before. Have never seen one in 3 years here.

Ah! But Roger, the real question remains: Was the house tilting to the Left? Or to the Right?
The photos are terrific; the story terrific-er!
