Waylon Jennings, Country Music Hall of Fame. I didn't understand the story of Waylon Jennings or know about his song "Don't think Hank Done it This Way " when I shot this picture. But since then, a very good friend of ours, Melissa M.--who happens to be a huge Waylon Jennings fan--explained what this photo and the exhibit are all really about. Melissa says "Just for a little background on your photo: Waylon was an original Outlaw who often ruffled feathers with the Nashville establishment. They didn't like his original sound or his scruffy appearance or his wild ways. The lyrics to Don't think Hank Done it This Way speak to his frustrations.
