Nikon D7000 Sample Photos

All photos taken with Nikon D7000. Surf photos with Nikon AF 300mm f/4 lens and Nikon 70-300mm AF-S VR. Macro shots with either the Sigma AF 90mm f/2.8 or Sigma 105 AF f/2.8. I also have been using the Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di-II and Nikkor 80-200mm 2.8 Push-pull for my portraits. So far I have gotten very good quality photos from the D7000. At 1100 ISO I didn't need to do post processing noise reduction!

I love the 6fps especially for shooting surf photography.

Thanks Carlos, yeah the Tamron 17-50 BIM 2.8 is better than my Nikon 35-70 AF 2.8 as far as good photos go. The Sigma 105mm is good for the cost though I haven't got to try a Nikkor 105 yet. I sold my Nikon 70-300 AF-s so I could get the 80-200mm which has better quality photos when shooting surf and portraits. I used to have a Sigma 70-300 a long time ago which was ok for what I was using it for.now what I would really like is Nikon's newest 70-200mm afs but I'd have to sell all of my gear plus camera to get enough money to buy one! Lol!

Amazing shots. I see you also use Tamaron lenses. How do you feel about the non-Nikon lenses? I just purchased a Sigma 70-300mm lens and I have not had a chance to go out and test it fully yet. But I am looking forward to it :) regards, Carlos Melara

How many new digital cameras have you bought - 4 and counting? The film guy is still using the same one and probably 30 years old and still going. Just poking fun at you digital guys. Where would the economy be with upgrades?
