In memory of Garret Naugel, who died in 1818, aged 50 years.
The inscription on the stone reads:
"Weep not for me my tender wife
Nor shed your tears in vain
I hope your loss in this vain life
Is my eternal gain
Long time in life in pain i've been
Physicians were in vain
Till death did seize and God did please
To ease me of my pain"
