@Steffi: Well the suggestion is a great one, less is more.I just doubt that I will be able to retain the association to the title, he does stand in the centre :-)
With this elective picture title your intention is to be seen clearly: You wanted that he is positioned in the middle because he also emits this that he is central with pleasure. You have observed him maybe long since to see thus as a conclusion. Yes, and his look has an expression as if he was of the King.
Personally it would have still irritated me here to try out another crop, so that it between both boys - in the middle and on the left in the picture even more intensely to an interaction comes in the expression.
So croped from the right up to the arm, so that the elbow becomes the corner runner. From above so far that the cap is easily croped. Then everything rises what still in the picture and would not be belonged to it any more I clone (from the right the third boys and on top the piece of the water)
Then the screen of the cap becomes even easily in parallel with the upper image border. And now convert maybe still in b/w. The looks of the both have to tell us a lot. Very well observed and grieved, Michael.

Bei diesem gewählten Bildtitel ist deine Absicht klar zu sehen: Du wolltest, dass er in der Mitte positioniert ist, weil er das auch ausstrahlt, dass er gern im Mittelpunkt steht. Du hast ihn vielleicht schon länger beobachtet, um das so als Schlussfolgerung zu sehen. Ja, und sein Blick hat einen Ausdruck, als wäre er der King.
Mich persönlich hätte es hier dennoch gereizt, einen anderen Schnitt auszuprobieren, so dass es zwischen den beiden Jungen - dem in der Mitte und dem links im Bild noch intensiver zu einer Interaktion kommt im Ausdruck.
Also Schnitt von rechts bis zum Arm, so dass der Ellenbogen zum Eckenläufer wird. Von oben soweit, dass die Mütze leicht angeschnitten wird. Alles was dann noch ins Bild ragt und nicht mehr dazugehört würde ich klonen (von rechts den dritten Jungen und oben das Stück des Wassers)
Der Schirm der Mütze wird dann sogar leicht parallel zum oberen Bildrand. Und nun vielleicht noch in b/w umwandeln. Die Blicke der Beiden haben uns viel zu erzählen. Sehr gut beobachtet und getroffen, Michael
