This is one of those crazy shots that you have zero time to think about. This shot was taken near Lancaster, Pa. I was driving around back roads looking for photos. It had rained heavy earlier in the day and the roads were wet. It was near sunset and I was driving into the sun. I came over a steep hill and it looked as if the road was an abstract ribbon of silver and I noticed an Amish man in the distance crossing the road. I just grabbed the camera and shot a picture. In a split second he was gone. I was lucky to have a polarizer on the lens and that it allowed me to shoot through the windshield. The photo would remain just abstract squiggles if not for the man crossing the road and there wasn’t a second chance to shoot another. This is what I call “a lucky shot.”
