A bug discovery.

The machine that separates the grain from the rest of the plant stalks was set up in the top floor of the barn, and the grain dropped into a large metal container outside and below the machine. The kids had the job of moving the grain around in the container to flatten it from the pile that formed in the middle of the space. This they quickly discovered was in essence a giant sandbox only instead of sand it contained wheat. Well, maybe not all wheat, as they have found a lone unidentified black bug, which was of great interest. Here in this photo they discuss and contemplate the bug and it’s significance.
