Wild Kingdom.

Wild Kingdom

Do some of you remember “Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with the host Marlin Perkins, the TV show premiered on January 6, 1963, took viewers to the far corners of the world and studied wild animals in their natural habitats.
Well continuing on with my “Wild Kingdom” of cow’s, horse’s, sheep, and such, I present to you, “a snake.” I have no idea what kind it is, but it is quite striking in color, and I know just enough to realize it’s poisonous, because of the shape of its head. I took this photo through a terrarium window at a local reptile farm where we had taken my grand son to visit. He loved it there as they had many wonderful exhibits and live reptiles as well as a group of full size lifelike dinosaurs.
My grandson is just two and a half years old, and I’ve mentioned to a few friends here on PBase, that we are in countdown for the birth of his baby sister. She still has yet to make an appearance, but it will be any time now. Only a few days between now and Wednesday and we will have our baby girl. The doctor told my daughter Nicole that if she has not had the baby by Wednesday they would induce labor, so we are all excited here and waiting impatiently for the arrival. Yay!!!!

P.S. Thank you all for your good thoughts and best wishes. I’m sorry I haven’t visited all my friends’ photos as regularly as I wish, but I will be by to enjoy your photos again as soon as I can.
